A Three-Fer Post!

Hi everyone!  I still have a bunch of the samples that I made from the last shows that I haven't posted on my blog so how about a three card post today?  All of these are simple in design and easily constructed if you are in a pinch for time.  I have used a new product on each one of them, though, called Nestabling!  I was given these new shaped samples when I went to CHA in July so they aren't actually available here yet, but are due to ship at the end of September.  Nestabling is bling (pearls or rhinestones) done in the exact shape as the Spellbinders Nestabilities.  What a great idea, huh?!  I thought that it would be fussy to put on, but it really holds its shape nicely and allows you to position it just at the very edge of your die cut.  I think it is a nice addition to your cards to give them a little extra fun!
The third card was done using the Holly Motif design dies, but I nipped off the holly so I just ended up with a scrolly type die.  Its really nice that you can use it for those non holiday type cards too if you wish.  The seam binding dyed to match, a handmade rose, some pearly swirlies and a couple of decorative stick pins finish this one off.   There are a few extra bits on these cards that I have used that I can't say anything more about just yet, but you can have a guess if you like!  Let's see who is the most observant!  If I get enough correct guesses, I'll just have to spill the beans, huh?!  LOL  All for now, Sue x

I like the third card best simply because I have the holly die, the Nestablings are really something special, I like them too.
Could the extras be the flowers or the backing papers? I always think you use such lovely papers, so how about the Sue Wilson paper stack in a 6x6 pad for the future?

Love the nestabling and particularly the pearly swirlies. Sorry I am not sure what the extra bits are though.

Hi Sue

Great cards once again, can't wait for Tuesday
9pm. Is the extra bits, the bordabilties dies across the bottom of the second card and also down the side of the third card, i can't think what else it could be. The previous suggestion about the paper stack sounds like a great idea.

I was going to guess new borderabilities, but card one doesn't have, so I am guessing the nestie shape that does the pink cardstock and the center. On card two it would be the center again. Card three, the nestie under the holly swirl shape.

Well, nestabling was my suggestion on a previous post, as was nestaboard. I can see why borderabilities are mentioned. But, hey, they're all good so I shan't worry about how they're made up!x

Hi Sue
Love these cards - best for me is the third one.
I wondered if the nestabling would be a bit difficult and lose its shape but you've convinced me to try it. Love the sheer patterned ribbon on the first card.

Fab cards yet again! I don't know how you sleep at night with all those ideas buzzing round your head. Looking foward to Tues/Weds shows. I think one of your new items could be buttons.

Hi,
Gorgeous samples as always. Is there any chance of you posting a picture of the turquoise and white card you had on the recent shows? I think you used one of the circle dies that went with the ironwork set, but can't remember the exact ones you used. A huge thanks to you for sharing with us such inspiring designs. Visiting your blog always gets my creative juices flowing.
Love and Light
Suz
