HI Sue
Happy 4th of July to you and yours

Lovely card and die today as always. As for you posting Christmas inspiration for us, go girl go! We are in July now after all!

We have a rule in our family no-one can mention Christmas until July and then it's 'Open Season'. :)

As I mentioned to you I will be making all my Christmas cards in August when I have nearly three weeks off Yippee! Can't wait to see your first offering my friend.

Great to have a Saturday video - thank you - and also that we're to get double Friday cards - spoilt again!
Well done to all the gals - and our guy Rolfi - on winning a Christmas die. Have bought the Winter Trees, Sue, so play time ahead.
Also well done to Angela on winning the Wednesday card - another one for Wales!

Excellent card again today, staying up late due to all the fireworks going off in the neighborhood. It's after midnight here.
We had a pre-4th of July BBQ with all the family today. Nothing beats Texas BBQ. We had smoked baby back ribs, pulled pork, and even a prime rib on the rotisserie. We cooked, grilled, and smoked meat all day, and will start again tomorrow with a smoked beef brisket. Wish ya'll could all join us. Tomorrow we'll also smoke some corn on the cob, and some jalapeno bacon wrapped peppers, in Texas we call these Armadillo eggs, they are so delicious. Of course we also have to have some watermelon and summer peaches. Then we'll go to the big fireworks show at the county fairgrounds later tonight.

Hi Sue,
Happy Independence Day to you and yours, have a great one.
This card is gorgeous, so glad you did the video on it, I would have made life VERY difficult for me by trying to cut the shapes and then matching the striplets to the background underneath (probably unsuccessfully!).
You are so clever, with infinite creativity.
Can't believe some Wilsonettes haven't claimed their prize yet.......

Would be VERY good if Loopy Lynda could send some cats and dogs up here - we have hardly ANY rain and the plants need it badly.

Hugs, Rose

Hi Sue,
Happy 4th of July to you.
Love this fab technique and your wonderful tutorial.
That strplet die is wonderful and I love the fab background it makes.
Great tutorial, and thank you.
It's finny as I had just been doing some glue dots on a anniversary card.
Have a wonderful weekend.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

Happy Independance Day Sue and to any oversea's Wilsonettes, what a shame you couldn't be there to celebrate in style Sue.

Again I send many congrats to the first time winner's of Sue's festive collection, it feel's so good to see your name for the very first time when you're not use to winning so enjoy your gifts.
As for double Friday, cant wait Sue, especially if we get the chance to see your new dies again so bring it on : )
I love today's card Sue. Your striplet dies are fantastic to make backgrounds with, it takes a bit of 'playing' to get it lined up well but oh so worth it. I really need to get back into my 'den' if only life wouldn't get in my way !!
I shall be making my list of festive dies later whilst sitting on the side lines of doggy school (providing the bark level's arn't too high) lol
so I send my love and hugs to you Sue for a happy Saturday, and a good day, and thank you for another beautiful card and informative video.
Lots of 4th July hugs.

Morning Sue
A beautiful gift to start the weekend. A very happy Independence Day.
I have to confess that the die and background play havoc with my eyes. I cannot tell whether the background is flat card or has a flocked appearance. It certainly does give a different and beautiful appearance even though it's a little disconcerting.
I love your chosen colour palette.

It's a little cooler here at the moment so fingers crossed it may stay and I can get something done.

To all in pain and suffering I hope your day gets better. To everyone please take care and stay safe and remember drink lots of water and cover up.
See you tomorrow.

Hi Sue and lovely Wilsonettes
So sorry been missing for a couple of days, every now and then life gets mad and even when I get in from work everything is full on. I was at a fundraising dinner for an incredible charity last night called Christians Against Poverty who help people get out of debt amongst other things.
I love this card, every now and again I indulge and watch several demo videos in a row, I love this, such a clever idea. Yesterdays card is so pretty too and I love the single layer flowers with the heat embossed detail, they're gorgeous.
Anne C, I had a look at Red Point Beach on google images, what a stunning place. My dad used to take us to Scotland on holiday when we were little in a VW camper, it's a beautiful part of the world.
Belated birthday hugs Lynda, so sorry I missed it,hope you had a wonderful day, I followed you on pinterest, not looked at all your boards yet, just the cards you made and you have made some really gorgeous cards. There are several Deb Curtis's on there so you have to make sure you pick the right one, I use the same picture as on here.
Rolf, I think I saw some lacquer on ebay but you might be able to use Ranger Glossy Accents instead, I'm not sure but I think it might be similar.
Not forgetting, massive congratulations to all the lucky winners from Sue's festive launch.
Sincere apologies if I've missed anyone's news, I need to spend some time catching up and reading all the comments.
Have a brilliant day everyone, love and blessings - Deb C xx

Good afternoon Sue,

What a treat to have a demo on a Saturday, and what an interesting one it is too, looking forward to watching it later between Federers and then Andys matches.
Had a restless night with the chronic thunder and lightening that seems to be spreading across the country-luckily my cats Darcey and Brodie were unconcerned but I must admit that I feel a bit jaded now so I will just have a chilled out day watching Wimbledon I think, nothing too strenuous.
Congrats to Angela on her win, you lucky lady and what great news having two cards on a Friday, don't you just love the build up to Christmas , better start getting the new dies though or I will be lagging behind!
Hope you enjoy your 4th of July celebrations Sue, and all our overseas Wilsonettes.
I have been eagerly waiting for Sues next appearances on C&C, so I checked Creative Expressions Facebook page only to see some posts stating that there will be no more shows. Devastated! Does this mean that will never be doing any shows or selling her range on C&C again? Can anyone shed any light on this situation please!

Good afternoon Sue and the fabulous Wilsonettes,
Oh it was nice seeing some regulars up there on the podium of winners but i wish all the winners happiness with their new toy when it arrives.
This is a lovely card Sue, that bit different from the norm and not using up nearly as much card but giving the illusion that you are with all the up layers and the ones sinking in to the card. Lovely and lovely colours to, thank you Sue. I hope that you have a fantastic day today flower celebrating in your own way 4th of July as it must be different being here in UK when you have your own National celebrations days that we just don't get excited about. It's a bit like St Andrews /St Patricks, St Georges/ St Davids day that each of the UK's respective parts celebrate but yours is a nationwide celebration that they all seem to go daft over and really party. It is nice to see that surely for one day they can all be united in being Americans. Have a great day anyway flower and enjoy it as much as you can.
Well i am trying to get red round so that i can make a mess again finishing the bridal things so i am clearing away so that i can bring out some other stuff, well you can't play if all your toyes are packed away can you. Have fun everyone and sending hugs to all my Wilsonette Angels both on blog and not at the moment,
Love and crafty hugs

Hi Sue

First, happy 4th July to Sue and all the USA based Wlisonettes Txcowgirl your bbq sounds amazing, I hope all you Americans have a lovely time celebrating your nations birth.

Ok, onto card. Very clever Sue, one of my favourite striplets. Think you could have a lot of fun finding variations on this theme.

Congratulations to all the winners of the Christmas dies. :-) it's so lovely to get a prize, bet you're all waiting desperately for the postman!

Brief one today late comment today due to being asleep this afternoon, multiple transfers yesterday going to the dentist so my back is screaming at me. Lots of meds and subsequent sleepiness hence no comment yesterday. Woke up yesterday to eat tea then slept again until 1am. Put Billy out and the thunder started, bit of lightening an Billy just ambled around the garden. Then the rain began- Billy did his business in record time and ran in! It's nearly 8:50pm here and just heard a rumble in the distance... its fairly still and still hot so hoping for a bit of rain to freshen things up.

Hugs to everyone, have a lovely weekend

T x

Hi Sue
Happy 4th July celebrations to you from sunny Sanibel Island Florida. We have been in Florida two weeks but are flying home today so have missed the parades. Mind you, I am looking forward to slightly cooler weather and a cup of tea(I'm not a coffee drinker!) but will miss Florida.
Today's card is beautiful, will watch the video when we get home so I can concentrate. Texans cowgirl my daughter was drooling over your food, we have eaten some amazing food whilst we have been here.
Congratulations to all the winners and thank you Sue for sharing such a beautiful card.
