Hello crafters! Welcome to the first die launch of 2016! I've decided to start with my Australian Collection. First up is the Australian Background and the Border, Corner tag die set. As always, one set of each of the new dies will be given away. There are 31 new dies this release so lots of chances to win one. Just leave a comment to be entered into the drawing. One comment per blog post, but please feel free to enter a comment on each and every post. As I always ask, please sign your comments with more than just a first name otherwise there may be more than one person that claims the die prize. Use a last initial, a surname, a city such as Jane in Essex, etc. or an funny alias, just something that says it is you and only you. I will draw the die winners and announce it on Monday Feb. 1st, Shown here is the Australian Background used in several levels on this card. It does make an elegant card though, don't you think? Although the border, corner tag is not shown here, you will likely see it used with later dies. The next blog post is set for 12 noon, hope to see you back here! All for now, Sue x

I love the row of little rectangle boxes that it makes and it just sits exactly when using the pierced square dies, this has got to be on my most wanted list, and yes like everyone I would love to win it.
ReplyDeleteI have a soft spot in my heart for Australia, my husband took me there in 1999 for the holiday of a lifetime following a very serious illness that I had the year before and believe me it was, the memories of such a beautiful place and the remarkable people will stay with us for ever, we are always talking about it..........now what did I do with that lottery ticket............

I'm glad you have brought us more countries, I think it's a great way to name your different die sets. Everyone has different memories or dreams of certain countries. Today's makes me think of my sister in law who lives there and of our trip there for her wedding.

ReplyDeleteA wonderful start to your new collection! I love this new background die from the Australian Collection and it has leapt to the top of my Wish List. I have quite a few of your previous background dies and have always found them so useful.
I made a New Year's resolution to start using my previous dies more and not get carried away by buying new ones but it looks like that resolution is now broken as I think this one is gorgeous! The Border, Corner and Tag look pretty special, too!

I suffer with ME & Fibromyalgia and battled with depression for a couple of years now and haven't really crafted much during that time, but I have recently been following you and watching your tutorials, you have so inspired me to focus on my crafting again, which helps me cope with my condition. I have started collecting your dies, they are not only beautiful, but they always cut well even the most intricate ones. The only difficulty I have is choosing which dies to have, would love them all!! I really love the way your dies can be used and altered by cutting them and placing them in different ways. ReplyDeleteOooo what a pretty card Sue and in the cream it looks lovely. The Austrailian set looks beautiful when made into a card and the borders,corners and tags look equally as pretty. I can see this set for me would be another Spanish collection which is my go to for special cards. Thank you Sue for another gorgeous card and the chance to win such a stunning die set.
Claire (Clairebear) i too suffer from those horrible things with a few added complications into the mix so i can understand just how you feel flower. I hope today is a less painful day and that your spirits can be lifted by the lovely Sue's cards.

Hi Sue, well you certainly have not disappointed with the first of the release, this card is gorgeous and just so me that I have to put this background to the top of the list. I love the way the outside edge frames the more intricate central part and the milk(?) card is so soft and gentle.
